I took an extended break from blogging for the past few months but all that is about to change… I’m coming back with so much to share. These last few months have really taken me for a spin and brought so many wonderful adventures along the way.
The greatest adventure has been getting engaged and planning a wedding for this summer. At the same time, I was completing a Master’s in Business Administration at Penn State University. Needless to say, this has been a bit of an overwhelming experience but one that I wouldn’t trade for the world. Having graduated this past May, I can now say that I have successfully accomplished one of my life goals.
While the business courses I completed equipped me with the information needed to successfully run my own business, I knew I wanted to learn more about the wedding photography industry. That’s why I set out to attend a workshop where I could learn from more seasoned photographers about the ins-and-outs of this industry. At the Bayside Workshop, hosted by Natalie Franke Hayes and Krista Jones, I learned more than I had expected. I walked away from that experience with the confidence to take on wedding photography challenges and having made new friends.
Meanwhile, I have been traveling to new places, reconnecting with friends, and getting in touch with my craftier side. So today I’m recapping my adventures from the last few months and sharing some of the memories created along the way. More on my travels coming soon.
Engagement to Graduation
It’s crazy how fast time flies but when you look back on every experience you realize that the friendships forged grew stronger during that time.
