DC Photography Family Portrait Sessions offer a joyful and meaningful way to bring your loved ones together and celebrate your connection. Whether you schedule them annually or every few years, these sessions are a beautiful opportunity to capture the love, laughter, and bond that define your family.
My approach to family sessions—especially with kids—is "Embrace the chaos!" Because let’s face it, that's where the magic happens. It’s in those moments that I am able to capture a mix of candid, natural, lightly posed shots. I also believe in going with the flow and adapting to how the kids (and even the adults) are feeling. If they need a break from the camera, we can let everyone take a moment to play or run around, helping to ease the pressure and create authentic, sweet memories. Feel free to bring along toys, activities, and pets—everything adds to the fun!

Got to love the weather in Winchester, right? I keep a few backup dates available each month just in case the weather doesn’t cooperate. If it’s rainy or overly windy, there’s no charge to reschedule.

Believe it or not, nearly EVERYONE tells me this before their session, and it never turns out to be true! I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to help you look fabulous. When you’re having a great time, you’ll look more beautiful than you thought possible — I promise!

I believe you should have the freedom to print and share your images as much as you want, which is why every session includes your choice of 25 full-resolution digital files with a print release. Plus, you'll receive black-and-white versions of every image you order.
If you absolutely love your proofs, additional digital files are available for purchase.

You’ll receive your proof gallery within 24-48 hours after your session. The delivery of your final digital files depends on how quickly you select your favorites, but they will be ready two weeks after that.
